Live broadcast of the consecration ceremony of the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of Odessa by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill is on Top-5 of the most popular programs of the First National TV-channel

The fist National TV-channel defined Top 5 TV programs of July 21, 2010.  On the rating of the best projects was the broadcast of the consecration ceremony of the largest cathedral of the South Ukraine - the Holy Transfiguration of Our Savior Cathedral in Odessa.

It should noted that these figures are rather high and testify to the attention of the society to the events related to the visit of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill to our country, and to the life of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at large.   

The Top-5 leader was the program “on the most essential”, customary for the audience and dedicated to the unusual heat of this summer season. 

The TV-channel informed on the broadcast of the divine service and consecration of the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of Odessa not long before the event – on July 19, when the website dedicated to the visit of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church was launched on the basis of the website 1tv.com.ua.   

As we may see, four of the five most popular programs of the First National TV-channel is dedicated to the Orthodox subjects.
