KYIV. Patriarch Kirill to Have Official Meeting with President Victor Yanukovych, Vice-Prime-Minister Tikhonov Says

Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will have an official meeting with President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych. It was announced by Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine Victor Tikhonov in the course of meeting with journalists on Wednesday, July 21, according to "Interfax-Ukraine".

"it will be an official meeting both with the President and the Prime-Minister”, Victor Tikhonov underscored.

Note that in accordance to the program of visitation of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church to Ukraine, the meeting of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill with Nikolai.Azarov is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, on St Vladimir’s Hill in Kyiv. It was stated by chairman of the Commission of the UOC for Reception of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill archbishop Metrophanes of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav at the press-conference, dedicated to the visit of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill to Ukraine.
